Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

00z GFS won't be any better.

If anything, it's looking more ICON-ish...

I mentioned earlier in the thread that there were at least 3 main areas of energy that had to come together to produce our storm, and that made me nervous. Now, I still trust the Euro with this complicated of a 500 mb setup.

It's not phasing like ICON, it's moving too slow!

It learned of Wxman57's plan to escape to "warmer climates" down south and it's going after him!!!!!!

I mean, technically, no headlines have been issued and it's still several days out.

It's been a cruel tease, but does it really count as a bust?

Holy cow. We did say a few days ago they needed to move fast enough to phase. With the slowing down, this is alarming. I would be surprised if the Euro doesn't start trending slower.

With the amount of consistency it’s shown over the last several days, it would be a monumental loss for it if it caves to the others.

Sounds like you’re hoping for it since this at least the second time you’ve said it.

The one caveat is earlier during 18z I did notice the Euro was slowing down compared to prior runs.

GFS does eventually get some snow (2-4") into the northern suburbs of DFW, but not before an all-day cold rain on Thursdy.
