It will still be just a dusting at most if that. Had that already in Jan '17.

Interesting, I live 2 miles east of the airport, no rain mixing here, just fat flakes coming down moderately! I walked outside and remembered how I missed it so much!

Well then why are we all complaining?

That's what I've been asking y'all for the past week . Trying to tone down the mood swings of the thread.

The winds are just howling here and snow is blowing everywhere! Splattering the cars in the driveway—-looks like paintball!

Snowing in Far North Dallas. I set my wake up alarm to the minute exactly (4:45)!!!

Got my kids up. They looked for 5 minutes then back to bed.

Currently standing outside in the snow with a blanket on. 35 degrees

The roofs are starting to turn white. How I love that look.

Still up since RadarScope shows a little dab headed for me in just a few minutes. Based upon talk of others it seems like the CASA app radar is matching better what’s happening though since RadarScope inaccurately shows a hole of nothing east of Grapevine.

Judging by the returns youre about to get slammed!

I wish I could post a video. I went out with my wife to take pictures

Same here, our 3 yr old was excited until we went outside and the wind hit us. He'll learn how this works. You can't play in the snow by looking at through a window. First snow for him. Unless you count the dusting at DFW in '17.........

It looks like there is a bit of a line from Roanoke to Azle that may pass your way

It looks like somewhere in Collin County probably ended up with the best snow. Some pretty impressive returns

And looks like the secondary band is developing out west. HRRR has done very well with this. Wish I had a chamce to join in but looks like all of it will stay north of me.

I’m getting some very minor accumulations already in Frisco. Nice big flakes are just whizzing around everywhere with the wind. Feels fantastic!
