I diagree. I have looked through the WeatherBug Stations all thoughout the Northern Interior, and this is what I found:

Blaine: 0mph Average, 26mph Gust
Ferndale: 3mph Average, 30mph Gust
Bellingham: 8mph Average, 25mph Gust
Eastsound: 8mph Average, 22mph Gust
Anacortes: 9mph Average, 27mph Gust

And it goes on like that, with pretty much no Northern Interior station reporting more than a 10mph average.

It may be windy where you are more so than south because you have different factors working towards higher winds than we do.

34.8 degrees here now with heavy rain.

Looks like the PSCZ is re-loading to our west. This could get interesting!!

The entire wind pattern today is favoring the I-90 corridor and REALLY favoring Snoqualmie Pass. It is an absolute blizzard up there now.

Every flake reduces the drought threat.

So far 18+ inches for the DAY at Snoqualmie Pass!!

The recent STORM TOTAL at Baker is 47 inches (and counting), with another 10 - 20 inches of snowfall possible by late Wednesday.The snowbase, as of today, is the highest of the season and with yet more snow forecasted through the weekend, MT. BAKER COULD REACH A 100-INCH SNOWBASE BY SUNDAY.

Anthony still says he is unimpressed.

I am not sure how much more dramatic this pattern change could be!!

We have had 6+ inches of rain in 4 days.

Snoqualmie Pass has had 33+ inches of snow in 4 days.

That is about as dramatic as it gets!!

We had another really good round of heavy rain and hail an hr ago!

Now the big story is the wind! during the convergence zone squall we had an hr ago the wind was strong from the North West, now its coming from due West. We are having gusts of over 30MPH, my neighbors huge fur trees are starting to bend my way :eek:

Power also starting to flicker.

Mountains are getting nailed!!!
Stevens Pass ski area is reopening this weekend, MT Baker is also going to be fully operational at the end of the week, and Snoqualmie may also open by the weekend :eek:

All I can say is WOW!!

Current temp is 42.4 degrees

One place that appears to not have escaped the winds today is Enumclaw, they have a steady wind at 11mph with a gust earlier all the way up to 43mph. :eek:

Can you recommend some good ones that are in the $150-200 price range?

I have the Kodak DX6340. Real nice camera, it is about 2yrs old now so you can get my model for cheaper then what I had paid for it back then. Probably around $200-$250. I also have a neat printer dock for it also, that was spendy though

I would avoid the cheapies under $100 dollars.

Well as far as I know, my digital kodak and fuji film cameras were deffinaly over your $150 - 200 price range. But you my want to try looking around on the web at like....best buy, office max, or any other place that sells cameras.

After 3 spectacular lightning flashes and LOUD thunder we are back to pounding hail and sleet again.

The sound of the hail hitting the roof is very impressive.

A totally wild evening here in North Bend.

Don't know how much longer I will be able to post, just had a brown out, all my lights and my computer monitor dimmed very low, then came back, then did it again. Then I heard a tranformer blowing in the distance!!

Getting a little crazy out there!!!

Yeah... there is quite a convergence zone aimed right at Mt. Vernon now.

It looks like you are just south of that R-Dub.

Must be why its so turbulent up there!!

Your right TT! I haven't looked at the radar for a while, that is quite a convergence zone line just to my north!!!

I can also see that strong cell hitting you right now!!
