I diagree. I have looked through the WeatherBug Stations all thoughout the Northern Interior, and this is what I found:
Blaine: 0mph Average, 26mph Gust
Ferndale: 3mph Average, 30mph Gust
Bellingham: 8mph Average, 25mph Gust
Eastsound: 8mph Average, 22mph Gust
Anacortes: 9mph Average, 27mph Gust
And it goes on like that, with pretty much no Northern Interior station reporting more than a 10mph average.
It may be windy where you are more so than south because you have different factors working towards higher winds than we do.
