GFS has another blast coming down the plains around the 22nd/23rd. Apparently the Euro does as well.

Wonder where Cantore will be stationed? If the RAP is correct it should be my driveway.

Saw that. Never seen her before. You can see the Renaissance hotel in the background.

It’s out in fantasy land but it’s nice to see.

Cantore might have changed his plans and settled on a place further east (I.E. Nashville).

Tennessee is under the gun. Little Rock looks to get pounded as well.

If I hadn't gone to KC Sunday

But I wanna see this one here... We might actually be on the higher side of projections for once even if it snows way more somewhere else

Just to give you an idea of what the NWS is going with for accumulations currently. This has trended a little higher but this is just total snow. Doesn't account for sleet totals mixing in. This is updated hourly.

Based on HRRR trends, I expect 00z models to trend cooler, about the same magnitude as 18z.

Re: Texas Winter 2024-2025
This storm, if it plays out as it could, will be memorable for some in places but it will be very deadly and costly already. The California fires may end up the costliest in US history. If it was a tropical cyclone its name would be retired.
