A BILLON TIMES FASTER! No...Not much of a difference, but just comparing it with it's past runs it does look a little faster with the push of the cold air.

As everyone has been saying tomorrow will be the day.

It is also showing wintry percip for SE Texas.

I am hearing that the Euro is trending with the Canadian and showing moisture in SE Texas in the Thursday/Friday timeframe while temps are at or very close to freezing. :double:

For SE Texas at least it shows moisture returning with the possibility of wintry percip. (On FRI though)

I'm not seeing precip for SE Texas, or anywhere in Texas really from the euro Thursday. Does have the shortwave but is dry. Maybe a trend.

Well I would have settled for a million times faster. The faster it moves the better our chances for winter precip right?

Text outputs from the Euro shows a 6hr total of .09 & .03 with 850mb temps around -3C and surface being at or close to freezing. Not much but is def a trend in the right direction.

If we can get the cold air to come down a little faster and the precip to come in a little slower it'd be like putting peanut butter and jelly on a sandwich.

Is there a link to text outputs from the Euro for my area? I have one for the GFS and NAM but didn't know if the Euro had one.

That's pretty detailed, I'm just going by the frames. Perhaps it does between them. It would probably take more than that though to fully saturate the atmosphere with such a dry air mass already in place. Good trend though!

I use the accuweather pro site which I think is around $20 or so a month.

What icy wrath hast we done cast? The weather gods are likely to be merciless with their icy vengeance and we here on this weather forum have none but ourselves to blame. I beg of you weather gods show us mercy. Bring us our ice crystals in the form of beautiful, bountiful snowflakes and do not pour on us the frozen rain that will damage our trees and taketh away our Internet. :froze:

I take full blame, I told a bunch of people Thursday and Friday that it was a near lock for snow on Tuesday. I forgot to never do that and now we are all paying for it. I'm sorry. :(

I noticed some tree branches overhanging the power lines leading to my house today and decided to buy an "indoor safe" propnae powered heater just in case. Supposedly it has sensors that automatically shut the heater down if it tips, gets too hot, or sets off its own low oxygen sensor. Even if I don't need to use it its good for camping!
