Not getting much but the sleet that does fall is huge. Like pea sized hail.

Getting a nice cold downpour here at the Rain Cave. Might have seen a flash of lightning too but can't be sure. The radar does indicate two cloud to ground strikes to the southwest a little bit ago so it could have been but didn't hear any thunder.

Back edge of precip is not progressing east so good sign there. Shreveport is still refusing to buy in on anything beyond a few sleet pellets. Gonna possibly be a rude awakening to some in western E TX tomorrow morning.

Got a little bit of sleet collection in the corners of the roof. Sleet pellets were pretty big and could easily be seen pinging off of lights. Precip rate wasn't very heavy but it was fun to watch. A nice surprise, hopefully a few more bands can form and pulse east across the area as this one did.

I’ve seen a few pellets, nothing much. West side of Frisco though, so who knows.

Euro and GFS are still the most aggressive models for tonight. Showing upwards of an inch over western E TX. Crazy that an inch is exciting.

Just had some insane wind here in Spring Branch in Houston, TX! I could hear things hitting the house. Hope this is over now. Glad some of you guys got a little winter precip!
