hmm… the 18z GFS looks interesting for North Texas next Wednesday and Thursday. It shows some ice and snow for the metroplex.

Sleet accumulating here in Hutto. Driveway, and neighborhood streets already slushy. Thought the ground would be too warm. Hopefully this turns to snow soon.

Yep, starting to get some sleet accumulation on grass and elevated surfaces here in Anderson Mill. Steady light sleet coming down.

Why is all of the precip staying to my north? It's like a shield around Baton Rouge? North la was supposed to miss out on this..

Got 39 here in Sugar Land but precip has ended. Ready for the real funk now. You guys up north are going to have a gooooood night tonight. I think more snow than whats anticipated

Drove home in a rain/sleet mix around 5:45 p.m. When I arrived in scenic southwest Travis County at the Portastorm Weather Center, the temperature was 31 degrees.

Judging by radar, the bullseye this afternoon seems to be along Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend.

could somebody post some maps of the short range high res models for se tx into la for tonight . central and north la looks to really be moistening up with reports of snow already falling. hoping it slowly moves south and east.
