Idk...the stuff in SPS looks right, but where is the rest of it? Lol

That is strange. Not even showing anything for Decatur. That can't be right.

Lots of closures scrolling across Channel 8, doing all they can to jinx this event.

NAM has a warm nose for DFW, GFS does too but not quite as long lasting. Hard to tell. Guess we'll find out soon lol.

That would be A LOT OF SLEET. I hope there isn't anyway we get really screwed and have some heavy freezing rain. Would not be good at all.

Hail Storm going on in San Angelo right now. Its nickel size and beating against my windows because of the wind. 40 degrees and falling with lots of lightning.

I should really ship what is in my yard down there...y'all would be ecstatic! ;D (I can't remember the last time I saw this much snow here but I'm thinking it was in the sixties or seventies). Our neighbours , that have a snowblower, finally have a reason to knock the dust off them this winter...up til this year it was funny watching them pull theirs out of the garage to blow away snow that a broom took care of easily.

Seen more than enough of the white stuff myself but it's fun watching the peeps here who never see it get so excited (reminds me of my childhood and how we'd run to get our toboggans and flying saucers out and plead with our fathers to take us to the hills with the best run :o). Now that we have to shovel it the love affair isn't quite the same.

From sw of San Angelo, to Abilene, to Mineral Wells; is very steady-heavy precip.. Mostly rain, but mixed as you head up towards Bowie/Wichita Falls. It's wowing how there is that much out there.. Plenty of time/precip for DFW to get atleast whats progged in terms of accumulation.

FWIW Graham at 32 and reporting light snow..
Bridgeport 38 Heavy Rain and N winds gusting to 26
SPS 28 Freezing Rain
Bowie 34

So where is the front positioned now? I think its actually through my area, temp just dropped from 49 to 46 and winds out of the north. If anyone could confirm for me that would be great.

That appears to be the leading edge of the reinforcing Arctic air. Just moving into northern D-FW area now. Cold front boundary is nearing Waco (modified Canadian air). Your temp will be dropping quite significantly in the next few hours.
