From Snow_Wizzard last weekend...

Any time you get locked into a rut like this, the models often bring us out of it too quickly. The ECMWF does have a reputation of overstating things at times. I think it is way too warm for the end of this week...Pure and simple.

I have written down, what I consider to be some outlandish predictions by you, and we will see how they play out.

"Outlandish" he says.

"Way too warm" he says.

Awesome afternoon!! Put the jetski in the water, and didn't even need a wet suit it was so warm out! Lots of other people had the same idea, was a busy (and still is) day on the lake. Here are a few pics I just took...........

One of my quotes from 8 days ago.

So... originally I predicted touching 80 degrees on Sunday. You are getting picky. Everyone thought I was nuts (at least Snow_Wizzard) when I said it could get that warm particularly when it was still rainy and cool (after 30 days of cool weather) and another storm was approaching.

Come on... if you listen to me you will get the basic idea on the upcoming weather.

And yes... we will be cool again by early May.

WOW you were right on TT! I offically put the jetski in the lake today where it will stay for the summer (on a lift I have by the dock)
The boat will be next if this weather keeps up!

Welcome Weather girl 8-)

Well folks....while I didn`t crack the whip at 80..lol  ....I however manage to hit a high of 79 degrees! A very nice summery day indeed! Bet there were lot of folks today out for a bike ride or any other outdoor activity. My current temp as of 6:47pm is 73 with DP of 33! Baro is 29.53 and steady.

Snow wizzard...thank you for the comment! All it took was a little study at the models last night to figure out where the storms would form. And by golly....I was right!

Hi all. Here`s a few pics of some cirrus clouds I took a little bit ago from out in back yard.

This is what the cirrus clouds looked like on visable satellite as they came through my area. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ajc192004 ... pg&.src=ph

Correction... Sea-Tac got up to 78 degrees. So close!!

Actually warmer than even I thought Sea-Tac would get in this warm spell.

That high temperature is 19 degrees above normal. It will end up being 14 degrees above normal for the day. Remember... the coldest day this month was 7 degrees below normal.

Yet... there seems to a couple days like this every April.

Overall... a very normal month.

HOW DO YOU CALL THIS NORMAL? We go from much below to much above normal tmeps and you call it normal. I just can't believe you TT! Perhaps if we get a severe thunderstorm tomorrow, you may think that is something special.

My time to be right is at hand. I have been jumping on this thunderstorm potential from the start, and it's looking good. In fact, all of the models were understating how much moisture would fall over SW WA this afternoon. They are getting some good activity right now.

I admitted I was wrong about it not getting this warm! What the hell do you want me to say. I have been right about some things too. You just drive me nuts TT. I may stop posting on here until you can see that all of the long range stuff I have been talking about it true.

It is just no fun for me to post on here. It just makes me too upset to see your constant bashing of what I post. Can't you say anything nice? Ever?

snow wizzard....please don`t go away and not post anymore... :( How unfourtunet that would be! I like seeing your posts. You two just have totaly different views about the climate...that`s all:) Don`t let Tim stomp you down about what you believe on the climate. He`s just voicing his views just as you are voicing yours. So please stay with us...ok??

In fact, this is my last post. I am just sick of it!

Your big problem TT, is that you need to be more gracious. I congratulate you when you are right and politely point out some of your errors. All you do is criticize, criticize, criticize and then bash, bash, bash.

Thank you for making this such a miserable experience! I have been wasting too much time on here anyway. By the way...I do think this month has been quite exceptional, and the events of this year are an indication of some wild stuff ahead. I guess we will see who is right soon enough. You need to be more open minded to other peoples ideas. You said the cold is my Achilles heal, yours is being too close minded to even consider another opinion. I actually took a couple of your suggestions in coming up with my analog years. I did consider the national picture in combination with the local data. From what I can tell you think I am so stupid that I do not have one good idea.

Good riddance!

Woah...we all need to calm down. Everyone brings something to this message board...let's not knock it down. If everyone enjoyed sun/warm weather like TT-SEA, this board would be boring. We need pure balance...and that's where Snow_Wizzard comes in. Although some of his predictions are far-fetched, he's mostly logical and I enjoy his analysis of the colder/weather patterns we've been in.

So Snow_Wizzard, don't leave the board. Here's an idea...just ignore TT-SEA's posts...and keep posting stuff you want. That's what I've learned to do. If you see something in the models that indicate a colder/wetter pattern, post it. And if TT-SEA knocks it down, ignore it.

Weather is weather. Like R-Dub stated, it will do what it wants. Nobody can control it.

Snow_Wizzard...

I have constantly said how knowledgable you are on local weather history.

I have also said many times that you are nice guy and pretty reasonable. I stand by those comments 100%.

Not sure why you got so mad so fast.

My last comment is factual. This is basically a normal month. Spring is a battle. Warm and cold.

We have cool periods and warm periods. All warm or all cold would be atypical. A see-saw battle is normal. It just a fact of life.

In the Midwest... spring is much more dramatic than here. But even our weather is quite changeable in the spring.

My posts that highlighted your quotes from last week was done out of frustration on my part... and with a smile (that I forgot to add). I felt like I nailed this pattern and some of you were still ripping me. Finding technicalities to ding me on. I am sorry that you got so mad.

I really would miss this debate. I guess I just look at this board as a place to talk with people that have the same interest in weather that I do. I never really take offense when I get ripped apart. Even when I give you guys a pretty good forecast!! :D

So... I am asking you to stick around. You would be sorely missed.
