Who? I don't see any negativity at all on this last page.

But why don't you start up the Snow Express Train and we'll all jump on board! :P

Edit: Figures. My post goes to the top of the next page after saying that. lol

My own personal disclaimer. I'm not a pro and I never plan to be, so you shouldn't believe anything I forecast as it will be wrong 75% of the time. In fact it's probably a higher amount than that so I'm wrong about being wrong.

You and me both lol busted snow forecast on Tues. If only I had shifted my prediction about 30-50 miles west!

Cuda I promise I'll do my best to turn my turbines and fans on full blast *due South* 8-) the next time the arctic drops down to my location. My plant growing zone is 2 (the same as the arctic and for a good reason).

We'll ship you some sunflowers and palm trees! Of course they won't live long but maybe during the summer!

Mr No not happy for North Texas snow next week.

I'll take you up on that offer NTxw!!! I've grown bananas and lotuses (the summer we hit 120 F with humidity they grew like weeds here) however come winter you should see what I have to haul in  and how tropical my basement looks and feels :o)

I belong to a gardening group that a lot of Floridians and Texans belong to and we've found ways of getting some goodies across the border and into Canada). Seeds are legal and plants well one person shipped to an American vet in Montana (who often comes up) and a couple of very tropical plants made the trip with him. :D :D :D :D :D

Alright just for fun

1-3 inches in Austin (3 east of there)
Up to an 1 inch for SA
DFW trace-2 (more south/east).
Houston is a little tricky, 1-3 (sleet/frz rain mixed in) with some 2+ just to the north. Areas around Huntsville - Jasper 2-3 (3+ around the LA border).
Tyler 1-2 up to Texarkana.
For southergale = sleet with light snow at the end, dusting

Hopefully I am wrong and everyone gets 5+ inches with 3ft drifts!

iorange55's own personal disclaimer (borrowing it). I'm not a pro and I never plan to be, so you shouldn't believe anything I forecast as it will be wrong 70% of the time. Something just doesn't look right with this system. When you factor in the positively tiltled trough and questionable lower level moisture return, thats a recipe for very low precip values and when looking at the forecast, high bust potential.

I wouldn't trust that at all, at least for the Houston area. On tonight's 10 pm newscast, the KHOU TV meteorologist increased totals in the region, going with 3-5 inches just north of metro Houston (this map shows sleet).

There is bust potential. I was a little surprised the NWS went with such bullish predictions at first. Then I figured that ice was the reason why, but who knows.

Go figure as soon as I post numbers CMC comes in a bit drier lol. It's showing a storm at hr 108. Mostly in Oklahoma though, considerable snows...
