When can we expect the temps to stop dropping? It's still 36 degrees here in Denton.

Mom to 8 really is enough!
iam putting the final touches on a snowfall map to post shortly, there is gonna be a *red* area BUT just to warn you folks this is all dependant on where the 'snow bands' setup so you could say one place might get 6-9" but then say 20 miles away might only get 3" so that is the tricky part of this pinning down who will see the most.

Thanks msstateguy83!!! Anxiously awaiting that map. Off to get a cup of coffee, think I'm up for the day now.

EDIT: this is worse case, although i do think the odds of this happening are VERY good at this hour. now the temp is also VERY VERY VERY
critical today so if the temp is warmer then i expect by just a few degrees you could see these come down by a couple of inches in any
given location. imo thats why this forecast is so tricky, why the ft worth nws has been careful about what they are saying to this point.
HOWEVER they will likely need to upgrade parts of the n.tx area to a winter storm warn if things keep looking like they do...
EDIT 2: iam fairly confident though with whatever we end up with on the snow amts that the heaviest will be along and nw of a stephenville east
ft worth to denton line...

I just woke up to use the bathroom. Looked out the window -- moderate snowfall. Already about 1/4 inch on the ground here in Midlothian.

Sticking on edges of sidewalk and along curb. Sticking even better to cars and the grass.
