I was going to give up the ghost but snow just started mixing in with the sleet here in Sherman. I'll update if it intensifies or accumulates at all.

Light snow in Denison. I'll smile at that and be grateful for beneficial rains in a drought stricken state. Beats being depressed. :)

Well I'm not gonna be the one to tell the models. I welcome our new leaders. :ggreen:

Looking at the radar, northplexers could see some decent snow/sleet rates with the wraparound.

Snowing really hard now in Price, Texas just 10 miles west of Henderson. Nickle size flakes so far. Ground is turning white quickly.

Friday looks marginal at best for snow in NE TX. Very little moisture and no passing trof/low. Maybe some snow for the panhandle, but I wouldn't count on any in the D-FW area. Perhaps some sleet with the return flow off the Gulf setting up Saturday afternoon. Big warm-up Sunday.

How does the area North of Wichita Falls, along the red river looking? I noticed they raised the chance of snow overnight. I'd like to at least see one more decent snowfall before the oven is turned on.

Snowing at a decent rate in Longview. Starting to get a nice dusting of snow. Still have sleet on the ground from Monday.

I think this picture sums it all up. Taken just now of my neighbor's house (3 kids).

The big heavy band south of Dallas .... Will upper and lower level temperatures remain cold enough for moderate to heavy snow? All of the schools just closed here in Tyler?

Snowing at a good rate now though a bit of sleet still mixed in. Maybe a quarter inch so far. The warm nose will continue to erode and we should see moderate to heavy snow all morning 3"+ looking good.

Good Morning! Texarkana currently at 26* with heavy rain and some sleet mixed in. Icing on driveway and significant ice forming on tree limbs. At what point could that pose a problem I wonder. I'm not savvy enough to know if this means a later start to the snow or a bust for us, but either way the moisture is welcome. Ok it's not so welcome in front of my barn where it is a big mud bog from the cows, but we have to take the good with the bad.
Anyone have any insight into my corner of the world here in Texarkana?

Heavy sleet right now in Hideaway. Going back and forth from snow. It is starting to stick to the roads.

Light snow in northern Rockwall county. Maybe we'll eek out a dusting.

As I look at the radar, it is showing mostly solid blues with a few pinks in and around the DFW metroplex. Looks like the snow should be coming down nicely at a good pace.

But based on the reports I am seeing on this forum, that does not appear to be the case. Dusting at best? Weird.
