I'm going to need one! We have more trees downed than any ice storm or severe thunderstorm/derecho I can remember.

Also....how do you get your dog to do her business when the area she normally goes in is covered in ten inches of snow?

Ugh, yeah, I'm really hoping we can make it thru this last push without another major/hard freeze down here. I'm really, Really, REALLY ready to trim the dead off my plants and see some green, and the sun, for a change.

The record snow in Dallas made the top story on the Drudge Report.

If the 12Z verifies at the end of the month, Portastorm might have the last laugh!

So will some of us in the San Antonio area , and yes points south of SA. None the less, it's going to be a pain in the rear starting Little League baseball practice in the next couple of weeks with a March 6th opening date if the whole model run verifies.

EUREKA! Yesterday around 5 the sleet came down with a fury. Then snow followed for about 1.5 hours, leaving .5-1 inch here in Waco. I finally got to see some accumulation. My winter is complete now.

Portastorm: I will work on sending the good vibes your way. Also, is it Port "A" as in Port Aransas? or "porta" as in portable? always been curious.

Another pic from 7th floor Great Wolf Lodge --

Notice the large snowman at the bottom of the pic --- Great Wolf Lodge staff and guests essentially surrounded the building with large snowmen like this. I think this one is 8ft tall.

No doubt. This is VERY confusing.

In one of those photos -- you can see the Gaylord Texan in the distance -- about a half mile or so away. Last night, I could not see it from our hotel room.

Hi Waco! I'm happy for you! My counselor just let me and the others out for a break from the GFS addiction group so I had time to post this.

My S2K username is a shortened version of the name of my fantasy baseball team: The Port Aransas Tropical Storm. We play our home games in the High Pressure Dome.
