I think you have to lower tomorrow's expected high by at least a few degrees due to this snow cover.

I think some very light precipitation will be generated by this system. It's a very potent shortwave, unfortunately, it's directly on the heels of this current system, so it'll have to fight drier air and subsidence.

Temperature appears to be running about 4 degrees colder then forecasted right now. Hourly forecast shows temp should be 21 right now but is 17

I forgot to empty my rain gauge after the last two events (.15" Sunday and .30" Tuesday) and the result is really cool looking!

Yeah we are forecasted at 32 so im hoping it can cool down a bit more so we don't get ice.

I got an "Amerilert" text that work would be delayed two hours this morning. It was 25 degrees, but not a drop of precipitation in my area. Seemed silly, but areas around here got snow/sleet.

My dad and brothers in San Antonio sent some pics/vids of the "Dippy Dots" sleet/pellets that fell in their neck of the woods. Happy for them! They've missed out on a lot of the Winter fun.

Sun is trying to peak out in north fort worth. That should make the drive home fun for many today with the sun melting the snow and the freezing into ice due to temps below 20

Latest RAP shows light precip developing over west Texas tonight in response to the shortwave. It's showing some virga north of I-20, too. It'll be interesting to see what it shows as we get closer to that timeframe.
