There are several sites which feature the ability to upload and post a photo. I use "tinypic" but it's far from perfect. As for videos, I'd leave it to our folks here to opine. I was thinking I would upload any videos I may take to youtube and then post the link here.

ENOUGH EVIDENCE HAS COME IN FROM THE LATEST MODELS TO ISSUE A
WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE HILL COUNTRY AND METRO AUSTIN...AND A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE BALCONES ESCARPMENT AND ADJACENT
PLAINS FROM NEW BRAUNFELS TO SAN ANTONIO TO BRACKETTVILLE...FROM
MIDNIGHT TO NOON THURSDAY. IN SHORT...THE GENERAL FORECAST OF A
COLD FRONT PASSING THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON/EARLY THIS
EVENING...ARCTIC AIR BEHIND THE FRONT...MID-LEVEL LIFT FROM AN
APPROACHING SHORTWAVE TROUGH...AND UPWARD MOTION FROM THE ENTRANCE
REGION TO A JET STREAK...ALL POINT TO MODERATE QPF OVER THE NEXT
24 HOURS. THE PROFILE ABOVE THE NEAR-SURFACE ARCTIC DOME IS
CONVECTIVE AND MOIST...NOT ONLY INDICATING THE POSSIBILITY OF
SOME THUNDER THIS AFTERNOON...BUT MODERATE PRECIPITATION TONIGHT.
BANDING SEEN IN SOME OF THE HIGH RESOLUTION MODELS IS CONCERNING
AS WELL...THUS THE DECISION TO ISSUE THE WINTER STORM WARNING FOR
THE NORTHWESTERN HALF OF THE AREA. A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION
IS EXPECTED FURTHER SOUTH TO U.S. 90...OR ALONG AND NORTH OF A
LINE FROM SCHULENBERG TO SAN ANTONIO TO BRACKETVILLE...BUT TOTAL
PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS AND THE PRECIPITATION FALLING AS RAIN FIRST
SHOULD LIMIT ICE ACCUMULATIONS. WHILE THE NEXT MAJOR FORECAST
UPDATE THIS AFTERNOON MAY HAVE MINOR ALTERATIONS FOR TIMING AND
AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION...WE DO NOT ANTICIPATE MAJOR CHANGES TO

Imgur.com is the best for photos, and you can't go wrong with YouTube for videos.

We aren't seeing things. Whatever "it" is, it's frozen precip of some type. Very very odd!!!

If freezing rain doesn't count to Wxman57 - and I'm assuming the same is true of sleet and cold air intrusions - then I would suppose he will refrain from opining in the future about any events in Texas that don't involve just plain old snow? :D

12Z GFS indicates freezing rain in Austin by around midnight tonight. Surface sub-freezing air gets thicker by sunrise, thick enough that freezing rain turns to sleet. Precip ends 9am-10am tomorrow with a warm nose remaining aloft (no snow). This is a heck of a way to run a spring warm-up.

Sleet is like a football game that ends in a tie. It's interesting but not very satisfying.

In the past, a "successful" winter event has been defined here by snow, not freezing rain or sleet. Charlie Brown only kicks the football for a snowfall.

Yeah, THAT's how we got to more than 500 pages last winter.

And why we're closing in on 400 pages this winter.

Can you do us all a favor again next January and start talking about an end to winter and the appearance of spring? :D

I hope all this rain, mist, drizzle we've had over the past week or so is helping the lakes somewhat. The ground is a soppy mess. Would be nice to get some big thunderstorm rains on top of it for serious runoff.

Winter storm warnings extends from the Mexican border (Del Rio) to the mid Atlantic coast....in March.

If that is the case then the models are severely overdoing the warm nose. I don't doubt what y'all are seeing but the model soundings do not support it.

What is that... South Tyler also seeing those flake looking things? Lots and lots of rain, but seeing a few "flake looking things" too? Explanation please? It's about 54 degrees or so.. And falling
