I think you mean STJ, stands for Sub Tropical Jet.

.SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL SETTLE OVER SOUTH TEXAS LATER TONIGHT
RESULTING IN MUCH COLDER AND DRIER AIR TO SPREAD ACROSS ALL OF
DEEP SOUTH TEXAS AND THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY. THE DIMINISHING WINDS
AND CLEARING SKIES WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO PLUMMET LATE TONIGHT

10% according to NWS.

Tonight: A chance of snow, mainly before midnight, then a chance for flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

My brother just called from Red Water, which is between Texarkana and Hooks. He said it is snowing heavily there. It should be here on the Arkansas side of Texarkana soon.

Mom said her friend felt some snowflakes on her skin. I'd say it could be possible since we were in the mid 30s and had 20% chance of snow. :P

Whoops if you are referring to me, it was before noon when she felt it.

Also, although it's too far, I like this - "Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35."

Fairly low temps with a chance of showers. Hopefully it gets colder! :cold:

I feel like this may need a little more clarification for BrokenGlass. The subtropical jet is short for the jetstream which flows west to east and generally carries storm systems over the southern part of the U.S. Sometimes you may see it referred to as the southern stream jet. I use to live in the Sherman/Denison area, but have since relocated to Tyler, TX (not as much snow) :(

Very sad!

So anyway, hello...

hopefully more snow soon...lots and lots..
