Professor, you should see a lot of snow at Ohio State. You'll have to post some photos!

Adios, Texas Winter 2014/15. You really had us wondering if you would ever show up but you came through in the clutch! I hope you return next season with a little more cold, moisture, and consistency. Till then. :(

I read that all the snow is going to be in Texas winter of 2015/2016. No snow in Ohio. :P

Yeah Meteorology, I also forgot to mention Ohio State's Meteorology club hosted a severe storm symposium and I got to meet and take a picture with Mike Bettis.

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.

:uarrow: Yup, what a late season snow event. Five years ago today on my back deck, it was a winter wonderland! :cheesy:

Looking ahead to the end of the week, looks like we may get one or two more days with lows in the 30s.

Maybe one more chance at frost in a bookend kind of winter weather season.

:uarrow: Or maybe not. Forecast lows for Denison now around 40 at week's end.

Unless we get another April freeze/frost occurrence like the last couple of years, I may not have a chance to burn my last little bit of firewood.

:uarrow: We only got down to 43 last week. Unless there's an April frost/freeze like the last couple of years, all traces of (and hopes for) winter weather are now long gone.

Despite not living up to the hopes that many of us had last fall, in my backyard this Texas winter still delivered some big time cold and a little light snow in November and then those awesome two weeks of snow/sleet/cold at the end of February and the beginning of March.

With winter fading into the rearview mirror, I'm ready for some spring and summer fishing.

And then fall and winter again - with Portastorm getting the snowstorm of his dreams! :D

I noticed yesterday that the mesquites and pecan trees are starting to bloom so it looks like no more freezes for this area at least. As much as I would enjoy seeing it I have all my garden planted, hops sprouting, grapes blooming, and apple tree starting to leaf out. I would hate to lose anything or stress it out. I can't complain at all about this winter. I saw 4 measurable snow falls and a couple little ice storms! Onto spring! I just hope summer isn't unbearable this year.
