May be the longest cold streak of the season so far. Could be several days without getting above the mid 30s.
Far side of it will be closer to March though.

I would really like to stop heating after the first of March.
Probably won't happen though.

Not fair! I want thundersnow!! Heck I could do with just snow and some really cold air for several days. We haven't gone below freezing this year and only did one time in December.

Getting hit up here now, heavy snow and roads are a mess. Finally a storm that over performs.

Yeah, it was different. Went out to feed the birds just after it started snowing more heavily, not knowing if I'd be able to get out later. Booming was off in the distance, but clearly evident.
Radar showed it maybe 50 miles west, maybe a little less. Ended up with a couple of inches.
Temps have been at or below freezing most of the last week averaging about 10 degrees below normal.
Warmup forecast, but who knows ....

Somebody wanted snow?
Who ordered snow?
I got snow.
White flakes falling around the Blue jays and Cardinals sitting on the Redbud tree in bloom waiting for their turn at the feeders.
