Well, I take it no real cold is coming back. Hopefully will get some storms.

I got my second one as well yesterday. The fatigue I felt right after the first one just hit me a couple of hours ago. :/ Delayed but not denied.

Last March planted:

Sunshine ligustrum (seem to be ok)
Day lillies (rabbits ate by end of March)
Big blue lariopes (rabbits ate by beginning of April)
Indian hawthorns (rabbits ate these by the end of may which is totally perplexing since we have a ton up front that they didn’t touch)
Mexican heather(doing ok)
Crepe myrtle (doing ok)
Day lillies (rabbits have been eating the flowers but the plants seemed to be doing well until last week. They look dead.)
Perennial dianthus (rabbits ate by end of March).

So, one casualty (10 plants) due to the cold. No broken pipes.

No broken pipes, though I sweated two frozen hot supplies for two days. Lost some outdoor soft aloes. Agaves and aloe veras brought inside and did fine

Was wondering if those in Oklahoma and far north Texas, like Iceresistance Yukon Cornelius still had snow on the ground(?).

Mine has long melted, especially since it got to 81 here yesterday at the house, but you all had tons more snow up there than we had. Just curious.

They don't have snow. I know because they have had temps in the 70s for two days now. Also current snow cover map does not depict it. At least for Iceresistance.

I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.

Goal: to become a registered expert over tropical and subtropical cyclones.

There is still snow piles in town & on the north side of the ditch on OK-9 to the west, but that is almost gone & melting fast . . .

I've been up in Tulsa since Tuesday and yeah all I've really seen is some dirty piles in the parking lots which were clearly melting

NWS new radar is awful. One thing that hasn't changed is that it's down when it's storming. Was just surprised by heavy rain and lightning.

I've reserved comment but the reality is that it sucks. I've heard that internally it runs great but they don't have the necessary hardware to fully support the public facing application.

2 potent storms, one very near Tyler, TX & another near Shreveport, LA

Don't know how they are not severe yet!

The nws should put links to the old radar interface on the sites, but still keep the new one for those who may like it. I prefer the old one.

Travelling to Boise Idaho in mid March for three days. Checking out the area for a potential move down the road. Maybe another chance to see some snow. Will be monitoring the forcast closely.

So I just noticed the quality of the Love Field airport radar on RadarScope is much better than in the past. Did they update it? Also, it seems to update every minute!
