Going for a bike ride today?

Yep. Shorts and sleeveless jersey. Perhaps a 4-5 hour ride heading north. Image

I may be hearing things since I can't see anything outside but it sounds like some light sleet is falling.

I don't envy the return trip back south. Sure you'll have a nice tailwind, but you'll have less wind blowing on you and cooling you off. You'll probably start sweating profusely in this ungodly heat. Bring plenty of Pedialyte for hydration.

I'll have to douse myself with water constantly to keep cool.

Pro tip: if you have a Camelbak or other bladder type backpack, fill with water and freeze it. Wear a thin shirt and strap it on like normal. As the ice melts in this heat, you can then drink the water. 2 birds, 1 stone.

While a Winter Storm tries to materialize across Southern Texas, INVEST 90E has formed.

Not only do I have a CamelBak, I have the original that was sold in 1989, developed by medics who assisted with the Wichita Falls Hotter 'N' Hell Hundred (100 mile bike ride in August). I have a newer one, too.

If you guys want snow, the 12Z GFS says move to the east coast. That's a heck of an east coast storm it has at the end of the month. Whether or not it will really develop, well that's the question..

Looks like San Antonio is going to get dry slotted. I’m more than willing to call this “Winter Weather” we were supposed to have, a dud.

It still looks like that snow band could take a path south and drop something on y'all.... Precip could still also develop west of you guys. I wouldn't give up hope yet. You're still possibly, most likely going to have some sort of precipitation soon.

The model run is not done yet, I'm waiting for the run to finish to show the GIF on the Ensemble & Mean Snowfall.

Just confirmed it. A friend at tennis practice recorded light sleet pellets. It was light and not much was popping up on radar but it's definitely there.

I hope so. Just would suck for this Winter Weather Advisory to be a bust.

I was expecting it to be one from the get go although more so for Austin

The Model run has just finished. (Please note that it's unlikely to happen, but it's showing a MAJOR pattern change to end January.)
