Naw. I’d take the real cold after the last 9 days of absolute hell.

Before we return to cold and rid the area of humidity, we do have two solid rain chances today and Tuesday. Then I don't want to see 70s again until March.

This humidity is nothing....think back to August. I'm enjoying the warmth. Just got back from a month in Reno, cold and snow on the ground the whole time I was there.....MGC

Man, that 12 GFS run is a thing of beauty. May it be so.

James Spann just posted that cross-polar flow will set up setting the stage for a cold Christmas.

Until Wxman57 books his flight to South America I'm not getting my hopes up.

He won't book a flight until the Cold Air is over me and DFW.

While not the high counts in January and February, Juniper (the mountain cedar hatred) is the main allergen in the count. Any warm winter day is hellish extra for me in that regard, need any kind of wind direction out of the north. The more the better.

I think he doesn’t really bite till he’s 100% certain the cold is coming and then he’ll switch to his other personality and become the cold miser from time to time lol

Nothing is etched in stone obviously but I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be 80 on Christmas anywhere nearby this year  whether it's actually really cold or not is the real question

We learned the hard way (or didn’t since we never got one) to get a snow shovel. Back in Kansas you can get all your winter needs even in Walgreens. Here it’s hard to find it even in Home Depot. So off to Amazon today. Not going to risk it. Better to be prepared and not need it.

Really like the Canadian ENS and its handling of the upcoming pattern flip to cold. The first shot next weekend looks to have some punch behind it and then you get the second colder shot in the lead up to Christmas. I think it has a much better handle on what lies ahead.

That setup is incredible on the GFS. Oh boy. Going to be a wild week on the forums.
How did the CMC handle temps for Feb ‘21? The GFS is not doing well, currently.

Also, I will be driving from my current home in Denver to Galveston on Friday to visit my mom and go hunting till the 22nd. Whatever happens down there, I’ll be experiencing with you guys.

The CMC did well, but had some issues with it's cold bias with way too temperatures and also had a somewhat dry tendency on the moisture.
