No, just that Dallas will be more sleet than rain, but this could all change.

Looks like your area will be mostly dry until 4or 5 pm tomorrow, except for some flurries. But at your location you may get snow showers tomorrow evening. That would be my choice. Good luck bro.

Oops I didn’t think about the warning to the east just oh Dallas isn’t in it.

I’ve enjoyed the sleet. It’s snow-ish. I will not enjoy freezing rain.

Because even with buried lines power eventually gets iffy.

I think for you guys up around Denison/Sherman, tomorrow afternoon could get interesting again. Shout out to my friends at Holiday Inn Express Denison, my old stomping grounds for suitcase jobs.

43 last check down from a high of 50 this morning, with a light mist. It feels eerily like a winter storm, without the ice lol. I think this will likely be our last hurrah. “Missed it by ———-that much” haha.

Considering the FW office is chasing temps and always 2-3 Deg F behind, probably during overnight shift! Way too reliant on computer forecasting these days....

Been tracking the WRF models handling of temps, it seems to have the best grasp within Texas. Here are its temp at 6pm tomorrow

HRRR at same time

Just this slight difference will make a big difference with Ice accretion

Playing it safe with probabilities. But judging by area temps everyone is about the 24-28 range. Everyone should expect the same results.

The eastern zones are also the more impactful ones too. The amount of big, heavy trees from west to east is noticeable if you ever drive across the DFW metro.

If it’s still 26 it might be all sleet In the areas they just placed under ice storm warning.

HRRR keeps trying to warm us too quickly. Combine WRF type temps with QPF of other models and NE TX will be in trouble also.
