When it comes to winter weather and my chances here, I have always turned to you guys first. I have seen Weather Man 57 change his personality many times with his avatar throughout the years and was on here lurking back when some dude use to make all his post in CAPS... haha Some of you may remember that. :D Anyway with my introduction out of the way now, does anyone have a good link to where I can see the freezing temperature line in real time? One where I can zoom up on real close for my location?

Thanks again guys and congrats on your WX Win in TX. Stay safe out there.

I've bashed the Euro of late but...it's come around and FRAM looks juicy. 18z run is going now but the 12z run on it nailed same corridors RAP did.

Finally got power back on in Lindale. Today we got maybe 0.2" of ice and some sleet mixed in. Temps rose to around 32 or a tad above but are back in upper 20s again now. Oncor reporting major damage in this area. Much more damage expected tomorrow.

Even at 17z tomorrow, the 23z HRRR is showing a "sleet" sounding for DFW. Maybe we can avoid major freezing rain issues.

My temp has gone up half a degree since sunset to the warmest it’s been since yesterday, at 27.1. Might be nothing but something to watch if it continues or if anyone else is seeing it.

Same thing here, which may have implications later if it doesn’t cool more than a degree overnight. 27.5.

Peak temp was 30 this afternoon and currently 27. Been getting some light sleet which hopefully continues. Ice don’t play nice. Snow would be cool but probably not going to happen

Please don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

0z HRRR and NAM are showing possibility of snow for North Texas Thursday afternoon. Early trend but there nonetheless.

Going to go out on a limb here based on previous outputs along with other comparable guidance and say the RGEM (while respectable with its handling of the arctic air) is living in the Land of Oz with these accumulations. I suspected that it was yesterday but nonetheless we have a good test case at least over the next 24 hours to see for sure.
