Cold night underway

#1 Postby WoodstockWX » Thu Oct 02, 2003 4:47 pm

After an early afternoon high of 61, it fell from 55F at 3:20 to 45F at 4:20 with light rain.

Slowly falling and at 44.1F right now, looking for lows tonight in the lower 30s and our first frost and probably freeze.

Normal high is 66 or so, so being at 44 right now is about 20F below normal.

My area reached a whopping 56 degrees today, very chilly for a rain-free day in early October. Looking for low to mid 30's tonight with frost. 8-)

WE had clear skies with a few cumulus clouds and NNW winds at 17 mph with gusts over 30mph!! Our high barely eked out 56 degrees, and we are progged to hit 30 overnight!!! We have a heavy frost warning. Our dewpoint today was 22 degrees!!!!!

WOW it was COLD today!!!! This is only October 2!!!!!!! This is sure coming on real early!!!!!!
