We may see some colder weather in VA in 7 to 10 days.
About the snow in VA this month, I'm not sure. Check back in 4 days. This storm is still a ways off.

Who knows?
There's no blocking so a ton of things need to happen for the EC to put a Low on top of me next Sat over here.
I'd guess the SE Ridge gets east enough for the trof to make it through the Ohio Valley...maybe much further south. But no one knows right now.
FWIW, you can check the model map page I do later in the week...that shows progged storm tracks from NCEP and some models. Page: http://www.midatlanticwx.com/modelmap.htm
Till then, nothing in the bank as far as I'm concerned.
Concerning the RIC area you want the trof to keep sliding east...precisely what the EC has been doing.
