No Snow in Atlanta (this week)

#1 Postby JenyEliza » Sun Jan 16, 2005 6:42 pm

The cold is coming...but absolutely no moisture to work with. Our humidity levels will be so low tomorrow, we're under Fire Weather Watch.

Oh well...I still haven't given up on snow for this winter. There's still time (right?). :cheesy:

I'm going to Gatlinburg next Saturday and there's a chance of rain and snow there while I am there. :) 8-)

Temperature is dropping like a rock here. High of 60.1 three hours ago and it's already down to 43.0

As soon as the sun went down, so did the temp! We're already at 34, expecting to see the 20's tonight and our high tomorrow is only supposed to be 39.

With these temps, it would be a perfect time for a little moisture in the air....but NOOOOOO. Not us. :(

Jeny

PS. Have a blast in Gatlinburg. You'll love it. I lived in NE TN about 10 years ago, and my ex-MIL is just over the TN/NC line in the Western Carolina mountains. Looks good up that way for some snow!! :)
