Unless it really, really starts kicking up overnight, this is looking like a bust to me.

Yep, looks like the high risk will bust as only 4 tornadoes have been reported in that area. Considering there haven't been a lot of high risk busts lately, that has to be a relief to emergency managers.

That one cell in Texas just doesn't want to give up the ghost, does it?

I just looked at that cell. It has produced baseball sized hail and enough golf ball sized hail to cover the ground. Right now I see a rather distinctive hook echo just south of Roosevelt, TX. in that cell.

There was that one pulse of energy this morning ahead of the main pulse that set off clouds and storms late this morning/early afternoon.

I guess it made a bigger impact than expected.

And it is still going...at this rate, will it cross the world? Maybe it'll spark the first Atlantic TC this year

Glad tonight's actual didnt turn out to be as nasty as they were predicting though!

The high risk today seemed to be a bust. However, for me personally, today was great. I intercepted the tornado over by Crawford this afternoon and was able to get some really good video. I will likely be posting some it soon.

From the northern cells, it looks like a major city in Canada (Ottawa) was hit by a tornado on Saturday - damage looks to be about EF2:
