May 2012 vs July 2011 Snowpack

Just to demonstrate has bad the snowpack is this year, these photos were taken at the same place (Black Mountain in the Elkhead Mountains).

July 2011 had much more snow than May 2012!

This summer is going to be a major drought.

That's an amazing difference! 2012 has been extremely unfriendly to snowpacks in North America.
