I wouldn't say it's extreme when we are indeed seeing areas literally becoming uninhabitable across the world where populations of people having to migrate. It is not a stretch by any means that areas of the U.S. will also become extremely difficult to live.

For the high risk area in the SE, true.
The outbreak (both wind & tornadoes) worse than expected for the Midwest though.
