Can definitely see Davie/Weston dropping below freezing

Used to live in western Plantation near the Davie/Weston line in 2010, and registered a 25 - 26 degree low then, plus notable frost.

That area usually beats Miami by 7 degrees, Ft. Lauderdale by 5.

What is that structure (with all the frost)? Is it a car windshield?

:cold: And so, it is official. Very light but authentic nonetheless.... news video of extremely light snow flurries have now been reported in Tallahassee, Inverness, Gainesville, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and Oviedo (east of Orlando). NAM still forecasting flurries (or other frozen precipitation) for a small area in the Tampa area between 5Z - 9Z tonight (early Sunday morning)

That's the roof of the car, and the windshield also featured one of the coolest frost formations I've ever seen...looking from inside the car out:

As of 12:53 AM, the prior records for the lowest temperature of this winter have are breaking throughout Southeast Florida.

43°F at KMIA, Miami is lower than the 44°F set on January 16
43°F at KFLL, Fort Lauderdale ties the 43°F set on January 16
42°F at KOPF, Opa-Locka is lower than the 43°F set on January 16
41°F at KHWO, Pembroke Pines is lower than the 43°F set on both January 1 and January 16
39°F at KPBI, West Palm Beach ties the 39°F set on December 31

KHST, Homestead and KTMB, West Kendall still both have a ways to go to reach their seasonal records, which are 43°F and 38°F (!!!) respectively.

My own personal thermometer recorded 41.9°F at 12:53 AM as well, which is lower than the low of 43°F in the area on January 16.
I also recorded a relative humidity of 64.2% and a dew point of 30.7°F, which is significantly down from an hour ago.
