For those that commented on the yard-believe it or not, the yard was what made us buy the house. House is kinda plain, but yard is HUGE (for Houston). We put in the pond and the shop that you see at the back of the property, the rest, like the rose garden, was already here. I did have a greenhouse, but the hailstorm in 2001 destroyed that. The yard requires alot of time for upkeep but well worth it come summer when the lights are on in the pond at night and everything is blooming.
David, I have a plain jane Pentax ZX-60 with a Quantaray 90 mm zoom lens. No special settings since I still haven't figured out all the bells and whistles on it. Film was either Kodak Portra NC160 or Max 800, since I have tons of it laying around the house.
Congrat on the new vehicle-now we just need SOME STORMS TO CHASE!!!!!
Oh, and the fish DO swim out of the pond when it floods like that. I spent hours chasing them down as they were swimming down my side yard to the street during Allison. One of my neighbors caught one of my koi in his front yard. I almost fainted!!!!!

Duckie, they love it when it rains, floods, pours, whatever. They start circling the pond like crazy when it starts to overflow. I've had all of my fish since they were tiny (2") and they are all special to me. But I HAVE learned NOT to open my side gate when it floods and NOT to pull the grates off my french drains. I think they just wait for me to do that so they can plan their ESCAPE!!!!!!
