RECORD EVENT REPORT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD
355 PM CST WED MAR 24 2004

...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE SET AT YANKTON...

AT 350 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 82 DEGREES
WAS SET AT YANKTON SOUTH DAKOTA. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 78
SET IN 1939.

Nebraska sure can heat up fast...that's about as warm as we've been so far this year way down in Louisiana!
