TORNADO WARNING for Wagoner and Rogers COunty

A tornado warning is now in effect for northwestern Wagoner County, OK and southern Rogers County, Oklahoma. A tornado has been sighted east of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The storm is 13 miles west of Inola. Spotters reported a tornado with this storm.

AT 358 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR TO TRACK A CONFIRMED TORNADO OVER NORTHWEST
WAGONER COUNTY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

A TORNADO HAS BEEN CONFIRMED! IF YOU ARE NEAR THE PATH OF THIS
TORNADO...TAKE COVER NOW! IF NO UNDERGROUND SHELTER IS AVAILABLE MOVE
TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES
SHOULD BE ABANDONED FOR MORE SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. AVOID WINDOWS!

AT 408 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH
STRONG ROTATION 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF INOLA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCIN TORNADOES.

INOLA ARE NEAR THE PATH OF THIS DANGEROUS STORM.

...TORNADO WARNING CONTINUES FOR MAYES COUNTY UNTIL 530 PM CDT...

AT 454 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO TRACK A TORNADO JUST
NORTHEAST OF MAZIE...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

MAZIE...MURPHY...CHOUTEAU...LOCUST GROVE AND ROSE ARE NEAR THE PATH
OF THIS DANGEROUS STORM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE NEAR ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR LARGE DAMAGING HAIL...VIOLENT STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.
