Watch for violent tornadoes too. SPC highlighted that possibility for large violent tornadoes within this region. With the MLCAPE expected to be 4500-5500 j/kg, mid level steep lapse rates of 8.0 c/km, and deep layer shear of 35 knots all supports this threat and it could be potentially extremely dangerous as the afternoon wears on. Supercells should just explode like an atomic bomb along the cold front and dryline as the mid afternoon wears on.

I'll be here all evening keeping everyone up to date!! Be safe David!!
