I would like some METS to validate my forecast

This is not going to be pleasant for the mid-atlantic and the NE,there a dark lining behind the warm air.

It is 3:59 AM.Temp= 53 degrees. Dewpoint-53 in DE- Middletown exactly.
Can't see your hand in front of your face.Almost literally.

That does not bode good for a "not-so-rare anymore" severe weather outbreak to take place along the occluded front /Tropical jet stream line which is slated to pass through tonight around midnight to the early morning hours. This is the same set up that happened here in July.Rarity in the type of storm, though.

The temperature is predicted to get to 68 degrees.I'll go further, and because of the strength of the SW flow in front of the tropical jet, being stronger than thought at first, I'll say in the neighborhood of a good 72-75,believe it or not.It will be a record shattering day.

And with the dewpoint at 53,and a very deep storm piling out from the west coast into the mid-section of the country, moving east, with the low deepening, and barometric pressure so low,and in combination with pacific-flow moderated polar air behind the jet, which will be specifically much drier, this is a setup for some severe weather here, and I belive it bears much watching for a severe weather outbreak here in the mid atlantic,SE,and parts of the NE.

This front is not a two-pronged animal,so to speak, because of the el nino influence, there is a third moderating and drying element coming in from the SW and that will moderate the 10/20 degree weather to 30/40 degrees by the time it gets here.

This means a dry line will set up,and create some very unusual wind flow patterns.

I expect the threat to be from tornadoes and flooding rains as opposed to hail damage. The air is too moderate once it gets here to create such an event.

Am I wrong?

The -10 to -20 will recede back into canada, but I predict it will come back south, and I even predict a BIG SNOWSTORM for the NE the end of next week.
