Bow echo heading into the western upstate of South Carolina

#1 Postby jeff and shirens weather » Thu Apr 07, 2005 8:26 pm

A bow echo is now on the far western tip of S.C. and heading through the upstate of South Carolina Areas that are in the path will probably get straight line winds and hail. On the southern section in the southwest quadrant I wouldn't doubt if a tornado would occur. The radar cloud tops are reaching 50,000 to 55,000 ft. If this holds together I definitely believe we will see storm damage. I do not like the looks of it on the radar.
