Tornado Warning for Tyler, TX

That boundary to the south of I-20, warm front. DPs down there are in the 60s and 70s further south. Couple of good structured supercells well into the enhanced region. Bulging dry-line in central Texas should help focus some development from Hillsboro, Waco into C-Tx.

There could be a tornado coming towards Waco, TX

Three Body Scatter Spike

Basically happens when there is so much for the radar beam to bounce off of that the beam gets bounced to the ground, bounced back up, and then bounced a third time back to the radar. Typically due to excessive amounts of hail (hence the alternative name “hail spike”, although occasionally can occur with tornado debris, as observed in the mayfield tornado in 2021

Supercell about 9 miles NW of downtown Waco is looking mean and could definitely put down a Tornado at any moment. Heads up along I-35 and especially within the Waco city limits. Dangerous situation unfolding. My guess is Tornado warning will be issued shortly for all of Waco as storm has taken a more SE track.
