The sun is out here by the airport, it's just as sticky and humid as if this morning never happened. Watching the cells to the southwest if they head towards the metroplex. SPC analysis shows supercell potential composites highest around the big counties, as we saw the Denton storm rapidly progressed.

hmm according to Steve McCauley storm coverage should be a lot more right now, which is supposed to cause sinking air out west. If this does not happen and the dryline beats out the sinking air, we might be in trouble.

Well it looks like coverage is about to start increasing pretty quickly along that line on the NW side of the metro, so I don't know if it wil get too serious.

Tornado making off and on contact with the ground as storm makes its way through Grayson County. A while ago, spotter reported small multi-vortex tornado near Hwy. 82.

Unless it decides to make a hard turn as intensifying supercells do, the Hamilton storm is making a bee line towards someone in the metroplex

That storm is pretty much on its own with no other storms to interfere with it.

Appears a significant tornado may have hit Van. Emergency management from nearby Smith County (Tyler) en route to Van Zandt. Multiple Twitter reports of major damage, injuries and building entrapments.

What's more, Van Zandt now under a second tornado warning.
