7.2" so far at DFW brings the month to over 8". Some incredible rainfall overnight. 10.33" is the number for wettest Aug and currently #3.

Houston has the "look" of getting rain today, but we'll see.

Just moved into downtown Dallas a week ago. Man it has rained more than I can remover in just 4 hours or so than I’ve seen since I was a kid. Highway was like a River.

Crazy totals overnight. Went from drought to deluge like it is prone to do here. Unreal. Have a day off today packed with errands but might need to scale it back and finish some later this week. I wonder how the Trinity river downtown is holding up?

Another batch just formed when the radar decided to work again, and it's no longer working again. But, it appears my house is now up above 4 inches, a major milestone. Folks just south maybe 3-5 blocks probably are over 5. It's eerie how I was just on the northern edge of the heavy rain both last night and this new batch that just formed. It's almost the same exact shape as the last round.

Same here for the most part. I did pick up another .2” yesterday morning but Friday was the last decent rain. So far since this wetter pattern started I’ve picked up exactly 3” and now at 13.6” for the year. I’m hoping to at least get a couple more inches this week.
