That's very sad to hear, though not surprising given the intensity of some of these tornadoes. The footage coming out of storm chasers is incredible. Today has been a classic May outbreak in southern Oklahoma.

These storms, should they hold together which no reason they shouldn't will be in the vicinity of Texarkana in a few hours.

The severe storm cells over Oklahoma will likely remain intact as they enter the Texarkana area within the next few hours.

Heads up for Texarkana area. Storms look intense (even with lack of radar coverage). Likely tornados with them and very large hail.

Tornado Warning for the Texarkana area. Strong cuplet just west of Texarkana(about 15 miles), moving east. Gate to Gate sheer 130mph.
