Still looking at the NWS Wichita site and the EF4 on the Kanopolis tornado is still preliminary...makes me think they are considering EF5.

One picture that has the house flattened to the slab confuses me. Is that a piece of the wall on the left or moved furniture? I'd also want to see an aerial view.

Assuming you are referring to the flag picture? In the center of the picture, it looks like what is left of a stairway, and the stairway probably had a little closet right underneath of it (note the items stored under it, my grandma has something similar to that in her home). On the far left side of the photo (by the man) that there appears to be the remains of a concrete/brick(?) wall, with what is left of a kitchen sink attached.

If your description is right (and that was my thinking as well), the house was likely low-end EF4 (or even high-end EF3 if not well attached).

Aerial picture depicting path of the Norman tornado last week. Pretty darn close to OU.

Kudos to all who heeded warnings. Another potential deadly disaster mostly avoided. The 6 deaths in Woodward were essentially all mobile home deaths, unfortunately avoidable. Not a historic outbreak but a decent one by plains standards. 4/27/11 and '74 remains the top dog and probably shouldn't be used to compare with lightly.
