We are forecast for 41, I thought you would be warmer being SW of me. I'm not totally convinced it will get that cold, it will be interesting to see what happens.

I just went back to look at the temps for May '11. 1.1 below normal, with 3.8" above normal precip. Several days 10 degrees or more below average. About this time that year, people were cleaning up from record flooding. We all remember that summer.

This year, despite several inches of rain over the last couple of weeks, there is no flooding. In fact, the rivers are somewhat low in comparison.

Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. Northwest wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Saturday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 41. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm in the evening.

62 and 20 MPH winds won't feel like mid-May at all.

60 officially now and the forecast doesn't call for 70 again until Wednesday.

Winds dropped off and it feels decent with the Sun out at least. Clear overnight -- will we fall below 40?

I'm seeing 39 on one screen and 40 on another, so we're right in that area. Record low shows 39 in 1997, so we may be tied for that.

Looks like 42 was the low at the airport, very close to us. This matches a few nearby stations as well. Lowest recorded was 39 out in Owenton. Tonight forecast is 37.

Record for today was 34 set in 1973.

Record for the 16th at PAH is 36 also in '97, so I don't think we'll hit that one.
