I'm over the rain at the moment. I can't ride my bike with these daily downpours!

I did on Monday with .7 inches combined with a lightning barrage! I already got .75 inches of rain.

Absolutely pouring here. Heaviest rain of the day. The sun actually came out a little before dark but the first round was nothing like this

This is quite a way to start fall

Also had quite a thunderstorm in Longview this afternoon. Tons of lightning and very heavy rain. Managed 0.89" at my house which was a bit too far north for where the heaviest rain fell.

Man I was at my nephews JV football game earlier and they delayed the game due to lightning and 10 minutes later the skies just opened up and it flat out dumped on us. I was under the bleachers but was still getting wet cuz the rain was blowing sideways. They called off the game but the rain wouldn’t let up so I said the hell with it and just walked to my truck. Socks, shoes, everything was completely drenched in a matter of a few seconds. But I’m no lil punk so I dealt with it lol of course I get back home and we didn’t get anything. Go figure right

The overnight 2nd wave didn't do much, but I got 1.45 inches of rain, a GREAT start to September!

Storms are blowing up over the DFW metroplex and further south on I-35, the biggest and strongest one appears to be near Waco.

EWX office has backed off rain chances and totals over the weekend for my area. Looks like it will mostly be a Saturday night event here.

Wish I could say I was surprised but I'm not.

Yep, not surprising at all unfortunately. What looked like multiple days of good rain chances not too long ago now looks like maybe 1 or 2 days. Dissapointing for sure. Hopefully SA can finally cash in this time though.
