Rain chances in DFW have definitely decreased it's entirely possible a lot of places won't get a drop and amounts look very light where they do occur

Temps still cool off but not as much as they would have

0.5" most likely, a little more west of I-35. The big totals will be in West Texas

As it stands, Euro and Ensembles are showing signs of a warm start to October. Long range caveats apply. Moisture wise, looks below normal.

88 degrees here in Ohio, was sweating pretty good while walking to class. Absolutely dreadful.

My lawn already looks like it's late October early November it's that dry. We are going to need some good rains before December to increase that soil moisture and keep those ground temps down.

I hope the models change tunes soon. The upper pattern progged for early Oct has potential to yield near record warmth if it holds next week.

90s possibly mid 90s for some. That is hot for early Oct when averages fall to the 70s.
