Ha maybe for you guys in Oklahoma, but here in Texas it’s a crapshoot. The highs decrease from peak season, but some years the “switch” doesn’t flip til October

Edit: thought you were talking about the pattern change, not the snow, my b

I'm still in a donut, zero rain. It's amazing how certain areas really appear to have something in the geography that poofs these things. I watched the rain building toward me, then it just disappeared.

My brother in north SA said it got windy and just sprinkles. Sidewalk still dry(??). I said radar showed reds and oranges over his area. Apparently radar was inaccurate(?). Weird(??). Evaporating?

Forecasts are looking less encouraging for rain for next week. Temperature forecasts are 5-10 degrees warmer now. What changed?

Plan was always October. Rest of the month will still be above normal temps for most of the state, especially the southern half.

Maybe average rainfall at best. Better chances for rain in the panhandle.

Rain chances still look good for much of the state this week. Some areas could see a few inches by next weekend.
