Plant City FL 90F

what a tropical night it is out there... nearly midnight with temps still in the upper 70's and a dewpoint near 70. I love it but for those who don't... cooler weather is on the way.

Some rain in the forecast for this weekend. About 40% tonight
and Saturday. The front should move through around 4 PM Saturday,
bringing in a much more comfortable airmass with cooler temperatures
and low humidity.

To put last night in perspective, the low of 78 in fort lauderdale was warmer than the average low in July....and was 1 degree shy of the all-time record min for the whole month of november of 79 deg.

Heavy downpour along a line of showers and storms just moved
through 2 minutes ago. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/tbw
Very little wind, no lightning, just some brief heavy rain.

Very warm and humid for November- I was working in the back yard, and
was sweating like crazy. Heat Index must be in the 90s

I can feel the change a coming.
The wind picked up pretty good a bit earlier when I was outside grilling our dinner.
Feels great now, not looking foward to the next few mornings though.

Temp dropped like a rock after the front came through today.

Supposed to be around 45F tonight, having a feeling it is a little conservative. The clouds have cleared and the winds have died down around here.

The upcoming week of weather looks fantastic in Florida!

Not a single high temperature is expected to break 70F in Tallahassee, 75F in Orlando or 80F in Miami over the next 7 days. Pretty impressive for November!
