Might be a stormy end of March.

Yes please. One run but ensembles starting to increase QPF across the board as well. Signal mentioned a few days back continues to ramp up in the locations that desperately need it. As Jason just mentioned above, got to watch for severe weather but at this point you take the good and hope for nothing "bad".

Models continue to show rainfall across the state next week. With a bullseye of heavy rain in SC Texas, which needs it the most. Love to see it.

Aside from the rain chances, it is looking to be quite warm the next 2 weeks.

It doesn't look as bad as the last few, but the Sunday storm that will produce little rain in Texas will also have some wind.

Chance of snow looks pretty low until November or December.

That is a huge understatement (lol), but what you say is pretty much the case every year in Texas...

Brace yourselves.

After a bit of drought relief this upcoming week and perhaps into the first week of April, it could get torchy...

The location of the heaviest rain in Texas shows some spread between the globals for the late week. GFS implies flooding possible AUS-EWX and into the Hill Country. 12 hour accumulations verbatim over 6 inches just W of AUS and GTU. Very dry ground doesn't absorb heavy rain well and that part of the world is flood prone.

Euro heavy rain is in S Texas, S of a line from CRP to LRD, for what it is worth.

Centered on a region that desperately needs a nice drink of water. In the meantime, isolated chance today for some early evening storms. SPC has adjusted the threat for severe weather to include Austin metro with a more conditional threat just north of SA. Hail looks to be the greatest threat but will take the bonus rain today if we can get it.

So good to see some storms across the Hill Country and south central TX this evening! Both SA and Austin got some beneficial rainfall...and quite a bit of hail too.
