Euro looks decent for both of us. GFS looks ok too.

The 12z is considerably drier. Hopefully its a blip. Speaking of the euro, the weeklies are not that good either. :/

True, but the CPC is on our side lol

:uarrow:
I was just about to post something from the CPC, then I saw yours. I'll go ahead and add to that, why not? :D

The CPC seems to think we'll be wet over the next couple weeks. Normal to warmer than average temps.

Winter weather isn’t the only weather that excites me. I’ll still be posting just as much as I was during the winter as long as there’s something worth talking about.

Yep, frustrating that every time the models show a low digging across Texas in the longer range it trends towards kicking out across NM/Panhandle. That storm track is significantly drier vs a storm digging across Texas. oh well, it's been happening all winter.

I think that was hail actually. I saw some too in Bryan a little after 5 pm. EWX mentioned it in a tweet earlier.

00z Euro was back to a more southern track.

I’ll be here on and mostly off. I can’t wrap my head around people pining for severe weather knowing how destructive it can be. Rather than be frustrated I just won’t visit. See y’all whenevs.

Could be a dry spring with the way it’s looking. This looks to be one boring long stretch of weather coming up..unless next week can produce something.

Always promote posting and being active in all threads! I was just making note that a casual reader and many members don't post or partake in seasonal threads outside of winter. You always have your core weather geeks like us to posts regularly for all interesting events :D. By Summer most posters are venturing into the tropical threads.

DFW is running about -5.8F below normal for March. Looks likely it will be a well below normal month. Don't see any significant torch still. Probably some mild days with cooling shots. It's actually great weather to be doing some yard work.

I think a wet spring is much more likely than dry. Pattern looks to become more active by late this week as the subtropical jet stream gets going again.

I with the 570 dam 1000-500 mb thickness would trawl itself up from the southern Gulf.

I'm hoping for a wet day for my birthday so the last week of March better be wet! :grr:

I’m hoping for just an average spring this year (never thought I would say that). Our tanks and lakes are all full, and we have springs running that haven’t run for decades (west central Texas). Even with the recent dry spell, our creeks that have been dry most of my life were maintaining 30 to 50 cfs. All we need is enough rain to keep the grass growing this spring!

Possibility of another Super nino coming this fall. As an avid skier, a Super Nino is wonderful, but for SE Texas, im not so sure im excited about this. I have no evidence to back up the claim im about to make, but I just dont think another super nino will come so quickly.

With that said, what are the other possibilities? Dying nino? Modiki? What are these implications if its not a super nino. If it were a super nino, JB says it will be the first time in history they occur so close together.
