Another low record broken here...

22.4C(72.3F) yesterday for a low breaking the 1998 record of 21.9C(71.4F)

93F on June 23 was a record here.

95F on June 24 tied with 2007.

Current record highs are 92 and 93 for today and tomorrow. We should shatter that:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... 107.55&e=1

The all time record for June is 96F and we're supposed to do that for the next two days in a row!

96F today, new record and tie for all time June record.

Denver CO 100F **2nd hottest so early, 9th 100 degree day in June since 1872**

Before this year Denver only had 8 100 degree temps in June since 1872. Today was the 4th one this month. Check out the weather forecast for the next week:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... d2=-104.99

There could easily be as many 100 degree temps in June 2012 in Denver than there has been all the other Junes put together for the last 141 years.

Up here in Craig we have set or tied four all time monthly records so far this year. The sustained heat this year in Colorado is unprecedented. Today makes the 50th daily record high at the Craig Airport so far this year.

So far in Craig we've only had 1.54 inches of precip this year. Normal is 7.33, putting us at 21% of normal. So far we're at ~43% precip of the second driest year to date on record; so it's much, much drier than it has ever been in recorded history.

Someone should really check that instrument to make sure it isn't broken. Does that location have any climate records to see what kind of records are being broken?

The closest I can find is Norman Wells.

The record high for June there is 33.5C/92.3F and the all time record is 35C/95F.

A lot of places in the Northwest Territories were above 30C so the temperature is accurate.
