Hats off to all those local stations who have been off the hook tonight!

Shame on the mainstream media for typical terrible coverage, and on the SPC for downplaying this...they should have issued a High Risk and PDS's...

OK, now have Tornado warning eastern Jefferson and western Shelby counties in Kentucky (east side of Louisville).

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR TODD AND
CHRISTIAN COUNTIES...

AT 905 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AND STORM
SPOTTERS WERE TRACKING AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO. PRELIMINARY
REPORTS INDICATE THREE HOUSES WERE LEVELLED IN CHRISTIAN COUNTY.

THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR FRUIT HILL...OR ABOUT 7 MILES WEST OF
ALLEGRE...MOVING EAST AT 60 MPH. THIS TORNADO IS HEADING TOWARD
ALLEGRE. TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN
INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET.

Widespread reports of 60-70 mph downtown
Marble to Golfball size hail
Powerlines and trees down all over the place
Sirens going off

whas.com is simulcasting wave3. This station covers most of the state.

If this continues, as we approach 12:00 am EDT, we will need to find streams for areas such as Knoxville, Charleston-Huntington and Columbus.

Multiple fatalities being reported with the AR/MO/TN cells and reports of devastation N of Hopkinsville KY with numerous homes destroyed and mobile homes blown away. Doesn't sound good at all... :eek:
